LASER SERVICES SAFETY Because patient safety is number one priority, we cannot treat certain individuals. We will examine your medical history at the time of your consultation to determine if our laser services are appropriate for you. To protect the health of your unborn child, we do not treat pregnant women. All patients under the age of 18 will need written parental consent. CONSULTATIONS At your convenience we will schedule a consultation to determine which services are appropriate for you. We will determine your skin type to accurately plan treatment. We may do test spots at this time to determine how your skin responds to laser energy. Packages are also available at a discounted rate. HAIR REMOVAL Unwanted hair can be removed from any part of the body. Shaving and waxing will no longer be a part of your daily routine! Hair removal will require multiple treatments because of the natural cycle of hair growth. Treatment length and number will depend on the area treated, your personal hair density and growth rate. Most patients will require at least four treatments, some as many as eight. VEIN SERVICES Unsightly veins can be removed from either the face or legs. Like hair removal, multiple treatments will be necessary. Two to four sessions can reward you with excellent cosmetic results! A consultation with our laser expert will help you determine timing and number of sessions. Using a GentleYAG laser with an integrated cooling system for comfort, we perform laser hair and spider vein removal. We can treat all areas of the body for hair removal and the face and legs for vein removal. We chose our system for maximum patient comfort and excellent results. We can treat all skin types. AFTER THE TREATMENT After the treatment you may experience a mild sunburn sensation for a few hours. The skin will be red and can feel tight for approx 48 hours followed by a pinkish tone for a few more days. (make-up can be applied). You may also experience some mild swelling for a day. Your skin will naturally exfoliate as new skin replaces dead tissue. Use of a mild moisturizer will mask the appearance of flaking.
